Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

The role of the Warehouse / Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is to perform a variety of tasks in receiving and shipping products.

  • Receive, unpack to ensure deliveries are received in good condition and packing slips match the products delivered and quantity received
  • Stock all products received in the warehouse, after they have been checked in, in accordance with predetermined inventory procedures
  • Pick, pack and ship product to outlying customers in the most efficient, accurate and timely manner
  • Conduct physical inventory counts
  • Perform required administrative tasks on a computer, shipping/receiving/inventorying product/orders, and email
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment
  • Act quickly to report any issues to management
  • Fast paced atmosphere; attention to detail and safety are of the utmost importance

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Able to transport inventory to designated areas into the warehouse utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles, such as a hand dolly, forklift and other hand or motorized equipment
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Perform basic computer work; including typing
  • Must have good math and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Two years warehouse shipping / receiving experience
  • Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.
  • Syteline experience helpful
